Theodore Walther was born 1872. When his father took ill Theodore ran the family mining company. He also assisted with the German American Bank, which his father started. Theodore was appointed Post Master in De Soto by Teddy Roosevelt, a position his father once held.
Theodore married Maggie Lammert in the 1890's and had 2 children with her. After the loss of his wife, Theodore married Edith Reppy and together had 3 children. Theodore died in 1928 leaving an impressive legacy of accomplishment.
