Good Evening --  Thought I would send a picture of the new monuement we placed on Jessie Hudson Walther's father's burial plot.
Don't remember if I told you we had searched for almost a year to find his burial plot, we knew it was around Brownsburg, Indiana by the newspaper articles of his murder.  We finally located  the burial plot in a private cemetery, Lingeman Cemetery.   To make a long story short, we received permission from the owner of the land, sent forms in to the government for a new monument (as John Hudson was a Civil War Veteran), received the monument and our son placed it in place last evening.  The only stipulation from the owner was to leave the old one in place for historic reasons.
We had three of our grandchildren with us last evening, it will be a memory for them to always remember about placing a monument on their great, great, great grandfather's grave who fought in the Civil War.

Regards,

 Glenda and Bill Walther
